The AppCraft Events site editor is easy to use and intuitive. It lets you create and modify your site in just a few clicks.

Top menu

Thanks to the blue bar at the top of your screen, you can view your mini-site in different formats by clicking on the one you want :

  • Mobile
  • Computer
  • Tablet
    You will also find two icons in the top right-hand corner :
  • Pen: when you click on this icon, you are in edit mode, where you can modify your mini-site as you wish.
  • Eye: click on this icon to switch to view mode, where you can navigate your mini-site in real-life conditions.

Left-hand menu

Clicking on the edit button in your site module takes you to the editor with the bar on the left.
The menu has 3 tabs.

Content

In this tab, you'll find your pages and the sections you've created within them.

Design

In this tab, you can modify your site's design parameters.

Toothed wheel

In this tab, you can translate your content, if you have several languages.
If you have a contact form, you can enter the e-mail address to which to redirect requests submitted by participants.

Add your pages

Create a page

To create your pages, click on the wheel to the right of PAGES

A pop-up window opens, showing your existing pages and allowing you to create new ones.
At the very bottom, you'll find an Add Page button.

On the details of each page, different elements must be filled in:

  • Label: This is the title of the page that will appear in your site's menu.
  • Link : This is the slug of your page that will appear in the url.
  • The eye : You can hide or show your page to participants
  • Trash: You can delete your page
  • The little arrows allow you to change the page order.

Customize the type of button in the menu


You can also customize the way your page is displayed in your site's menu.
To do this, select the type of button you want:

Packaging your pages

You can condition your pages using the padlock :

A pop-up window opens. If you wish to close your sites to guests only, you will need to select Guests only.

To apply other conditions, insert the value of the data to be filtered.

Editing metadata

To reference each page of your site, click on Edit metadata.

Once you've created your pages, you can navigate and/or edit each of them using the drop-down menu.

Sections

This tab lists the sections of your pages. They can be reordered by simple drag'n'drop.

The + button at top right adds a section to the bottom of the current page. This section can be selected from the pre-set page layouts.
You can also add sections via the Add Section button at the bottom of each page.

The content of each section can be modified directly. The layout of each section can be modified via the menu in the top right-hand corner:

A mouse-over will bring up the section options:

Some options are available for all types of section, such as the choice of background color or divider. Others are contextual.

Design

 

The Design tab lets you set :

  • the overall layout of the site
  • whether or not to display icons in the menu
  • main site color

Other options are available depending on the type of layout. For the left-hand menu, for example, you can choose the alignment of text and logos.

In the Menu insert of the Design tab, you'll find various checkboxes.

  • Show icons: This box lets you display icons to the left of each page in your menu.
  • Reverse menu colors: If you wish to have a white menu background, and tabs with your main color, check this box.
  • Mobile footer button: By checking this box, you can add a button at the bottom of the screen, only visible on mobile, which redirects to the link of your choice.
  • Show menu header: Check this box to add links to social networks at the top of your menu.

Text

To modify text, simply click directly on it. This will bring up an editing bar that lets you control its formatting (color, alignment, typography, etc.).

List

A list of elements can contain a variable number of items. When you hover over one of them, two buttons appear:

  • the cross, to delete an item
  • the move button, to reorder the elements.


To add a new element, simply click on Add element at the bottom of the list.

You can also modify the display and layout of elements. For example, you can display them in a grid of 2, 3 or 4 columns wide.

Image



The visual content editor offers you three possibilities:

  • add an image by drag'n'drop
  • select an image from an integrated library (find one)
  • delete an image using the cross

The image library is based on Unsplash and offers only royalty-free images. On the left, the menu proposes some keywords commonly used by our users.

Icon

By clicking on an icon, the icon selector appears. This offers a choice of icons whose color will be automatically applied.
