General presentation
The Mailing module enables you to prepare the e-mail templates you'll send to your participants, track mailings and record errors.
To send a validated template, go to the Participants module.
Create a mail template
To create a new mail template, go to the Mailing module and click on Create a new template or duplicate an existing template.
A pop-up appears on your screen. All you have to do is fill in at least the mandatory fields (Template name, From and Subject).
Miscellaneous fields
- Template name: name your template (visible only in backoffice)
- From: add the shipping address and sender name as follows: AppCraft <hello@appcraft.fr>.
- Subject: add the subject of your e-mail
- Reply to: add a reply-to address different from the sending address, in case the participant wishes to reply to your e-mail.
You can click on the "Send a test email" button to send you the template you are currently using. This button sends a test email to give you a concrete rendering of the design, but does not guarantee the functional blocks or redirections behind the buttons.
Mail body
AccompagnantsYou can then move on to building your mail body. To add a block, click on the + button between each block. All available block types are displayed.

Social | Add images with a redirect link when the image is clicked. |
Footer | Add formattable text with a colored background. |
Agenda | Add entries to the personalised diary. |
Accompagnants | Show the people accompanying the main guest after they have registered. |
Code | Allows you to integrate HTML code to personalise your email template. |
Add a table to the body of an email
You can include a table in the body of the email.
Please note
The maximum size for including a table in an email is : 500 px.
If you wish to display user variables (e.g. first name) in the e-mail, you can insert { in your text block. A drop-down menu of all the existing columns in your database will then appear. Select the one you wish to display.
Customise even further by choosing the type of button you want by clicking on the cogwheel next to the button.
The different system links behind a button :
You can tick the "Pre-fill for user" box to recognise the guest and pre-fill their registration form, or give them access to the registration site if it is reserved for guests only.

When you edit this, it is ESSENTIAL to tick "Pre-fill for user" and check that "privatekey" appears at the end of the URL.
Do not copy and paste the url.
Add an attachment
The Add attachment button lets you attach a file to your e-mail.
.pdf .jpg .odt .doc .docx .ods .xls .xlsx .zip.
Add a calendar entry
To create an agenda invitation (also called .ics), click on Create an invitation and complete at least the mandatory fields in red.

Unsubscribe
If you want to change the text of the "Unsubscribe" button, go to Strings and change the text.
Design
You can modify the design of your template by clicking on Design. Here you can :- Page background: add a background (color or image) to your mail background
- Card: add a background (color or image) to your mail body
Some messaging systems can remove the layout from your e-mails. Background images may not work, so we advise you to always set a background color in case your image is removed.
The heavier an e-mail is (attachments, images, etc.), the more likely it is to end up in spam. It's advisable to keep the design and content of your e-mails sober, to ensure better rendering and deliverability.
Add a category
To manage your numerous e-mail templates, you can categorize them. To add or modify a category, click on Manage categories.
Then link your templates to a category by clicking on the ellipses, then add a category.
Archiving a template
You can also archive mail templates we no longer use. To archive a template, click on Archive.
Your template will then appear in the archived section.
To unarchive it, follow the same process.
You can access the modification history of your email by clicking on the History button. A pop-up window will open, displaying the current version on the right and the previous version on the left. You can browse the list on the right to see all the changes you have made in the past.
View your dispatch statistics
You can view a summary of your mailings directly on the Dashboard, customizing the statistics for a specific date range or template using the drop-down menus.
In Last errors you can see a partial list of e-mail addresses that have not received your campaign. For details of errors, go to the Errors tab.
To find out more about your shipments, go to the Shipping tab.
Ajout et personnalisation d'un QR Code
You can add the participant's QR Code in the body of the email by clicking the button and selecting "QR Code"
Once the QR Code is integrated, you can customize it by clicking on the wheel on the right.
