Q&A can be used both anonymously and anonymously. It enables you to gather a wide range of feedback on specific topics.
The advantage of Q&A is that it creates interaction between the audience and the speakers, depending on how you want to use it. Participants can interact with event organizers, speakers and each other.
Set up Q&A
Saving is not automatic. Remember to save regularly (save tab in the top right-hand corner of your back-office screen) to avoid losing your work.
- Q&A is accessible from the Back Office under "Q&A" :
- This takes you to the Q&A interface, where you can set the parameters. If no Q&A has yet been set up, the element appears empty, so you can start editing it by clicking on the "Add" button:
Add a Q&A
When you add a Q&A, a Pop Up opens with categories allowing you to set up your Q&A.
The first editing zone concerns "text editing":
Messages are generated automatically, but you can modify them if you wish.
The second editing zone concerns "question display":
- You can restrict the display of the question on the participant screen
- You can restrict the display of the participant's identity
- Add an icon next to the question
Checkboxes allow you to choose the elements you wish to display on your participant's screen
The mobile zone is used to select the items to be displayed on the participant's phone:
General settings
You can add additional features
- Add a theme to Q&A
- Edit message
- Add blacklisted words
- Edit word color and add banner
If a contestant writes a blacklisted word, the word will not appear on the screens.
The various links
Once the Q&A has been created, a new element appears on your screen:
The different buttons :
- "Participant" generates the participant link
- "Moderator" generates the link to be sent to the moderator. This link will allow him to display the questions on the different screens.
- "Slide" generates a slide link to display the questions on a large screen.
- "Speakers" generates a link to be sent to speakers
- "Download" allows you to download statistics in Excel format.
The links allow you to visualize the preview and to communicate the right links.
Participant link
The participant link is what will appear on the participant's screen. Depending on the options that have been set (visible to all, ability to vote, etc.). They will be able to ask questions from this interface:
The participant link can be integrated into a page on the platform for participants to ask their questions, or directly into a live session for remote participants.
To embed the link on the platform, integrate an "iframe" block:
In "Iframe Type", select Q&A :
If you've created more than one Q&A, you can then select the one you want to appear:
You can also make the Q&A anonymous:
Anonymous mode
the choice made in the Iframe block will override the choice made in the interactivity block. If you have specified in the Q&A edition that the participant's information should appear, and then ticked the anonymous box in the Iframe, then the Q&A will be anonymous.
The Q&A can also be integrated into a workshop session. When the workshop is broadcast live, the participant can contribute to the Q&A from a distance, directly in the live interface.
To do this, click on Lives, then Sessions, then integrate the Q&A participant link into the relevant session:
?userId={userId}&firstName={firstName}&lastName={lastName}
Moderator link
The moderator link should be sent to the person who will be moderating the Q&A. This person should have a computer on site (preferably with a wired connection) to manage the posting of questions.
The list of questions appears on your screen one after the other, sorted by date.
The moderator can view all questions.
An archived question can be retrieved at any time from the dedicated tab.

From the speaker screen, if the information is checked in the back office options, you can see who asked the question and when.
Slide link
The slide link brings up all the questions that need to be visible to everyone (with or without moderation). If moderated, only questions that have been notified using the "slides" button will be visible.
On the slide screen, only questions appear with the name of the person who asked them.
Questions appear in sequence. The moderator can choose to hide the question at any time by unchecking the "slide" button in the moderator's interface.
