Emargement - Badge

Create folded A4 badges for your attendees, and make your loading more fluid with AppCraft Checkin.

Our badge editor lets you build your badge while previewing the rendering in real time. To view a specific user's badge, select them from the drop-down menu at the top right.

Build your badge

To simplify the creation of your badge, click on the "choose a template" button.

A pop-up window will open, allowing you to select from the different models available.

Once you've made your choice, confirm it, and the template will automatically be applied to your badge.

The badge is made up of 4 sections:
  • Top left
  • Top right
  • Bottom left
  • Bottom right
On each side, you can open the section to customise the content. You can add an image, the event programme, participant details or practical information, etc. If the section template doesn't suit you, you can easily change it by clicking on the "custom template" button in the relevant section.

  • Image template: allows you to add just one image to the quarter sheet

  • Template with Qrcode :

    • This template includes a banner that you can customise with the image of your choice. For best results, we recommend using dimensions of 620px by 200px.
    • It also displays information about the user, such as their first name (user.firstName) and last name (user.lastName). You can also add other relevant information, such as job title or company name. To add additional fields, simply insert two braces, and a list will appear allowing you to select all the fields you wish to add.

    • This section also contains a QR Code. This QR Code has two uses: in user mode, it can be used to recognise the participant and scan it via the dedicated sign-up application. In URL mode, on the other hand, it allows you to insert a link of your choice, directing you to a website or social network. What's more, this QR Code is fully customisable: you can choose its colour, background colour and size.

  • Template with banner + text

There are three different models, designed to meet the most common needs of user badges: one includes an introductory text, another presents practical information, and the last displays the event programme. Each of these texts is fully customisable, allowing you to adapt them to your preferences.

  • Empty template (for customisation)
You have the option of choosing this model if none of the models previously mentioned meets your needs. In this case, you'll have all the tools you need to customise the section according to your preferences. Simply click on the 'Add a block' button, and a pop-up window will open showing you all the blocks you can include in your section.

  • Qrcode: add a qrcode
  • Text: add text, customisable with user variables (e.g. for the first name)
  • Elements: add images with a title and description (e.g. partners)
  • Spacer: adjust the position of your blocks to align them at the top, bottom or centre of your page, depending on their position.
  • Image: add an image
  • Banner: add a full-width image
  • Sessions: display your participant's personalised programme (it is possible to customise the display of sessions; to do this, contact your dedicated project manager).

Customiser votre badge

On each quarter, you have a Design tab where you can add a page background. You can also use the arrow to rotate your quarter.

We recommend rotating the bottom quarters of your badge to make them easier to read when folded.

Also, below your quarters, you'll find a Design tab that lets you add a primary and secondary colour.

You can also customise your badge with css.

Download / print your badges

By user

Select a user in the overview to download their badge.

Alternatively, go to the Print tab and select a user. You can then download or print their badge directly.

All users

Go to the "Print" tab in the badges module. There you'll find a button called "Download all badges", which allows you to retrieve user badges in two formats: either as individual PDF files in a ZIP archive, or as a single PDF file containing all the badges.

By user group

Go to the participants tab, select the users whose badges you want to download, click on the ellipsis at the top right and select download badges. You have two choices:

  • Zip: One pdf file per badge, in a zip file
  • PDF : A single pdf file with all the badges in it
